VT-DSO-2820E for 50KHz with 4Hz modulation signal

VT-DSO-2820E for 50KHz with 4Hz modulation signal

Postby DANZYO » Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:14 pm

Hi,

I looking for solution for brain research study.
The solution need to take out a 50KHz frequency signal from the computer and convert it to an analog signal to transfer it to an electrode controller for brain stimulation process.
In addition, I can produce the frequency as a computer file with a modulation of 4 Hz (50KHz with 4Hz modulation).
Can the VT-DSO-2820E device will work for me?

Regards

VT DSOs' signal generator supports two modes: DDS and streaming. Signal modulation (AM, FM, PM) is only supported in streaming mode. The streaming mode of the signal generator supports a max. sampling rate up to 5MHz only. If your signal is a FM signal with a carrier frequency of 50kHz. Then VT DSO-2A10 (www.virtins.com/VT-DSO-2A10.shtml ) is better.

What other advantages does the VT DSO-2A10 have over the other one beside that?
