THD vs Frequency Plot

THD vs Frequency Plot

Postby polygraf58 » Wed Oct 03, 2018 1:15 am

Hi,

I am currently using the trial version of MI. I am pretty impressed with the software so far. It has been working well for static measurements. However, I have not seen a way to plot anything that is not with respect to time. The data logger seems to have time fixed on the x axis. I would like to generate plots including THD(Y) vs Frequency(X), Input Gain(Y) vs Output Gain(X), Amplitude(Y) vs Frequency(X) ect. The data points of these plots generate with respect to a sweeped parameter (Frequency or Amplitude). Does MI have functionality that supports this?

Thanks,
Chris

Thank you for your interest in our products. You can use the X-Y plot in the Device Test Plan to do those plots. In X-Y plots, the X and Y axes are user definable. Usually frequency stepped sinewaves are used in the Device Test Plan as the stimulus. Please refer to Section 8.8 of the software manual for details. The Device Test Plan is user configurable.
